Lawless
Malta 2050The sea is dead. The corporations own the islands. You own nothing. Yet.
Small studio. Whole island.
Head Crash is an independent game studio. Our first game, LAWLESS — Malta 2050, is an open-world crime game on our own C++ engine: all of Malta, generated at startup and dressed down to the last cable, election poster and rubbish bag.
We build it the slow way. Every street is walkable, every shop has a room behind its glass, and every car on the road is one you can steal.
Lawless
Malta 2050
Matthew lands at Luqa with nothing. A call from Yorge, an old Maltese fixer who knew his father, gets him his first job. The rest is up to you: steal, deliver, rob, buy property, and make a million before the island makes an example of you.
- A whole island: Valletta's bastions, Paceville's neon, Mdina's walls, the A1 highway on stilts
- The Pulizija hunt you with real tactics: cover, flanking, suppression and radio calls
- Fly the QUAD-4 over the dead sea, run from the navy, rob ATMs through your contact lens
- Buy a bedsit or a cliff villa on MaltaNet, the island's 1980s videotex still online in 2050
